Weekend update!
So, we took a day trip yesterday. Decided to check out Black Hills HD and Sturgis to catch the tail end of the Sturgis Rally (and to see the vendors, of course). Beautiful morning; nice fluffy clouds, sunshine, and the perfect temp. for riding. Most of the vendors were winding down. Black Hills HD had all of their "for sale" bikes outside, under the big tent. Inside was all merchandise. Contrary to Harley's accepted, traditional business model, they actually had sales and some reasonable prices on a lot of merchandise.

Lots of vendors at BHHD as well. Looks like they sold a few tires and exhaust upgrades (that's only S&S for the pile o' pipes).





Then on to Sturgis. It heated up and looked like it was going to be a warm ride home.






Scott tried to be cute. After we took our pictures by the Sturgis sign, some gals showed up and wanted their picture taken. Scott thought that pretending to run away with their phone/camera before the picture was taken would be HILARIOUS. It wasn't. Watching Scott fall down while running was hilarious, though (but not for Scott).

So; rules that Scott still needs to learn:

1) Wear sunscreen; and a damn hat.

2) Don't try to be cute.

3) And RAIN GEAR. Yup. We got hit again. The trip back to the hotel from Sturgis involved rain, heavy rain, heavier rain, and hail. Lotsa hail. Kenny was helmetless and Scott was raingearless. It did clear up once we got back to the hotel.
