Okay, two days on the road so far. Day one was through the desert, finishing our travel in Cedar City (Utah). Sadly, Chris and Angie are now out. They found a house in Scottsdale and decided that making arrangements to sell their house took priority. Personally, I think that is misplaced priorities. Plus, we really miss them. Troy and Ron did join us for the ride from Cedar City to Grand Junction (Colorado).
Moisture on the ride today; Bill let us know the rain would pass through by 9 am. Not surprisingly, he was wrong. It actually BEGAN at 9 am.

But the road to Escalante was, of course, phenomenal. We traveled through the rain for a while, stopping to put on our rain gear after our clothes got wet. Well, and another half hour wait for Bill to finish getting his gear on. So, these sharks were really swimming today.

Kenny continues the "What could happen to my phone during this Shark Week?" tradition. He now has a new one. On to Estes Park tomorrow.
