Hey all;
So this update will actually begin with our settling in last night. We again shared a room. Bill opted for the Sleep Number Bed (aka air mattress). His preferred sleep number setting was 51 (firm, yet comfortable).

When he woke up, his sleep number was zero (aka airless mattress). Kenny and I slept great.

No rain today, and the ride to South Dakota was phenomenal. Tons of motorcycles on the road (most of them leaving from the Sturgis event).





But when we arrived in Deadwood, there were still LOTS of folks on two wheels.

And, of course, all of the Road Gliders arriving for Shark Week 9 showing up at the host hotel(s). Bill will sleep well in his own room (as well as Kenny and I). Oh, and Kenny left some valuables back at the last hotel (you know, medication, toothbrush, and everything else in his toiletry bag). Bill happened to do a double check of the room before we left and retrieved said bag. Did we tell Kenny? Of course not. Kept it a secret and waited 'til he reached a semi-panic level in Deadwood. Speaking of toiletry bags; really Kenny?

Dinner was in downtown at Deadwood Social Club. Fantastic grub. Bill had Elk filet; Kenny and I had pheasant.

We will be heading to Black Hills Harley Davidson and the Sturgis rally tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
